Terrence Forster, MD
Dr. Forster is board certified in Allergy & Immunology, Rheumatology, and Internal Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he received the honor of membership to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his medical training at the University of Southern California for internship and completed residency at the University of California, Davis, where he was Chief Resident. He was an officer for the United States Army for four years at the 130th General US Army Hospital in Nuremberg, Germany, attaining the rank of Major. He also completed his fellowships in Allergy & Immunology and Rheumatology at the University of California, Davis. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Forster was also a Director of Clinical Research at Wyeth-Ayerst and a Consultant for several pharmaceutical companies. He was also the President of Bellwether Clinical Research. Dr. Forster has myriad research studies and publications in the field of Allergy & Immunology and Rheumatology. After 46 years of practicing Medicine, Allergy, and Rheumatology, Dr. Forster will be retiring at the end of December 2016.
Stephanie Knapp, DO
Dr. Knapp is board certified in Allergy & Immunology as well as Pediatrics. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Ohio State University and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at the Cleveland Clinic, where she was Chief Resident. She then became a Fellow in Allergy & Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University. She also served as a full-time faculty member for several years at the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University prior to joining our practice. Dr. Knapp has been involved in several research studies and is well published in the field of Allergy & Immunology.
Richard Schwarz, MD
Dr. Schwarz is board certified in Allergy & Immunology as well as Pediatrics. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook, where he received the membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He received his Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He completed his residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He then became a Fellow in Allergy & Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University. He also served as a Clinical Attending Physician for several years at the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Thomas Jefferson University as well as St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. He was also the President of the Medical Staff at the Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia. He has been the Primary Investigator in several research studies and is well published in myriad journals in the field of Allergy & Immunology. Dr. Schwarz has also made appearances on television and radio talk shows.
Anil Patel, M.D.
Dr. Patel is board certified in Allergy & Immunology as well as Internal Medicine. He recently relocated from Los Angeles, California after completing his fellowship at the VA-UCLA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System with pediatric rotations at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Prior to fellowship, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University after receiving his medical degree from St. George’s University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry with minor studies in Spanish from Rutgers University where he received membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as well as Phi Sigma Lota International Foreign Language Honors Society.
